Streaming is terrible most of sights not working can’t watch anything without having buffering every 30 seconds at the price you sell them the service sucks. Further more I have sold alout of units getting from a good friend of yours fix problem fast before you will half to replace boxes for free.

Was great at first, horrible now.

I have had a streamsmart pro fir just iver a year now. It worked great at for about 6 months. The last several months have been horrible. You're lucky if you can find a link that works in most of the add ons and if you do fnd one it either kicks you back out or constantly freezes and buffers. Their solution to everyone get a better router. I did this and still having problems. I have fios internet so there shouldn't be any problems at all. Their support is a facebook page and most if the staff is beyond rude and demeaning to people. They tell everyone the same thing and that the problem is on the custimers end. If numerous people are having the same issues then the problem would be on streamsmarts end not the customers but they refuse to admit this. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Not so great after all

I bought this box several months ago I spend very little time watching TV I find there is more effort involved in trying to find a show then it is worth if you are not super tech savvy and don't want to spend hours learning how to use this this box is not for you. Also I had an issue seven months in and I called the reseller to help me he was very obnoxious, *** kept laughing at me on the phone because I didn't understand his tech language and finally said don't know what to tell you good luck and hung up the phone on me. I would've been better to buy a $60 fire stick on Facebook that way when it was a piece of junk it wasn't quite the financial loss. I purposely bought this because there was a local reseller that I could speak to and in the end that was completely unhelpful . Also to all these anonymous five star reviews that buy several of these why are you people spending thousands of dollars to buy several of these? that sounds like the owners puffing their own product .

Streamsmart. The good,the bad, and the ugly.

I've had Streamsmart for about four months. The idea is good and basically the box is ok but the service is horrible. Maybe it's because I'm in my upper 60's and my tech savy is limited. There is no number to call and the only info that is available is a Facebook page that seems to be run by moderators that are annoyed by their customers. I tried today to get an answer because my box was down for about 4 hours. I looked at the Facebook page and saw that there were many similar complaints being answered by a moderator that kept answering questions with questions or statements like "go into tools and take a picture of your speed test" I looked in the FAQ and couldn't find how to do this so I stated that I was having the same problem and my speeds were 89gb download and 12gb upload to which he stated that I was hijacking something. Not knowing what that was I wrote back "hijack, whats that" which came out on spell check as hijack this. Before I could correct it I got a picture of a middle finger and I was unable to send my reply. So much for service. Also,they do not answer questions on how to find programs because it's taking up too much of their time but they have no problem listing 263 links, 260 which don't work or buffer every 30 seconds so that it takes you an hour to find a watchable show. But that's your time. That doesn't seem to count. In addition, there is no usable TV Guide so your floundering around trying to find your program. When it works it's great but don't expect any help if it doesn't. The good news is that I found the business card of my local reseller and he's much more helpful then Streamsmart support and he seems to like his customers. I just hope he doesn't quit! p.s. There doesn't seem to be an email to send this to so I'm posting it here.

Very hard to believe that they could not resolve your issue, I have yet to see stream smarts support vanish on anybody I purchased several of these for my home anytime I had an issue I contacted their Facebook support and it was straightened out right away.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT

I bought a box from a distributor of this company and the box didnt work. I got a message on my screen that said if the box is turned off to email them at info@***.tv for a new box. When I did I received an email from the owner Spencer Troth who wanted me to originally pay $250 for a box, then he went to $200 and then even $150. I told him that I just wanted the box I was owed as the message stated but he wouldnt do that and kept trying to upsell me. This company does not stand by their product or what they state and now I am out the money I spent. BEWARE STAY AWAY AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
