My sister and I had previously purchased StreamSmart S5 Box and I must admit I was pleased with this purchase. StreamSmart offered to upgrade my current box to a "Pro" for an extra charge.

I decided I would pay the extra money to get the "better updated version". I received this box in a timely matter but just admit everything from that point on has been a nightmare! I have had long email interaction with StreamSmart and have signed them into my account 2 times. The first time i was informed there was indeed something wrong with my box and was assured the problem would be taken care of.

Later I was informed the problem had been solved. I must admit I was able to use my StreamSmart that evening and all seemed to be better..... Wait I was wrong, I turned my box on a couple weeks later to watch some Discover ID and again my box was not working. I was getting the same message I had been prior to the original "fix" stating "no stream found" or I simply could not get past the TV show heading.

I again talked to someone (Via Email) who told me my box was fine. Well I am left asking if the 2 boxes before did not have problems and the 1 box that is still running in the adjoining room is not having trouble opening links why than is the "Pro" not working. I would like to be able to say that the StreamSmart support offered some solution or better yet my hope was to be offered another box in place of the one I have. StreamSmart did not offer to switch boxes or help me to find a solution and this is after spending hundreds of dollars and over 50 emails.

I am very frustrated with the lack of support and/or care and concern they have shown for an unhappy customer. I WOULD not suggest purchasing a box unless you have extra money to throw away and a lot of extra time to email back and forth to only be left in the same unfortunate position you had been prior to the endless emails

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $450.

Preferred solution: Trade my box for another one or refund the money for this box.

Streamsmart Pros: Thought an easy to operate box.

Streamsmart Cons: That my new box did not work and my old box did, Endless emails with little solution, That my box is under warranty but i am unable to get a new box.
